One of the major problems when it comes to kids with anger management issues is that they often do not realise that they have a problem. It is the parents‘ duty to make them see that it might be a problem and that their actions born out anger are not accepted. However, you cannot have the same approach for all kids. You need to find the right approach for a kid based on his age. Younger kids respond brilliantly well to worksheets and fun games which serve to teach anger management tricks and tactics. Keep in mind that you must focus on making it interesting for them. Avoid making them seem like tasks, in which case they might lose interest.
Use this book as a guide as to which multiplication worksheets you should print off. If your child is just beginning to multiply multi-digit problems without carrying, don‘t make the mistake of giving her worksheets that have carrying. It will most likely throw your child for a loop and she will become upset.
Care should be taken to give children worksheets that they are capable of doing. This involves understanding and monitoring the child continually, since the level of attainment of different children would often be quite different. The worksheet should challenge the child but not overwhelm her. If the worksheet is too easy or too repetitive, it may bore the child and she would not be happy. If the activity is too difficult it would frustrate her and she would not like to take up more sheets.
Some students fall through the cracks because they never speak in class, are never called on, and don‘t complete their homework. They feel no ownership nor pride for school. This can be easily corrected by simply involving each and every student in class. It is more fun being involved in class than sitting back like a bump on a log. Call on students that don‘t have their hands raised. Go around the room and have each person read a paragraph out loud from the study material. If students feel invested in schoolwork, they will be more likely to have fun and succeed.
