Some papers available in the Internet will require a fee to be made available to those who are interested. Although there is a fee involved, the fee is usually very low. An even more attractive alternative are grammar programs with integrated grammar tutor which checks your writing as you write and gives instant writing tips and feedback. The included worksheets are high quality. While some people might be skeptical about the quality of these English grammar worksheets because of their low or non-existent price, there really is no need to be suspicious of them. The software is professionally made and offers the right kind of English grammar instructions that an English learner needs.
While many of us have played the standard game of bingo, what you may not know is that many variants of bingo are now being used in today‘s classrooms. Bingo is in fact being used as a teaching age for a variety of K-12 school subjects including English (particularly reading and vocabulary), math, languages such as French, Spanish and German, and even geography, history and science. Furthermore, versions of bingo are also being used in some adult education courses such as English as a Second Language ("ESL") classes.
Use the whiteboard/blackboard. Italy still works with traditional blackboards in most cases, though some schools have whiteboards. Draw a scene on the board and have students write sentences in their notebooks to describe it, or have them comment on it as speaking practice. Be sure the drawing can elicit the grammar and/or vocabulary in your lesson‘s objective, and that it contains enough details to give each student a chance to cite something original. Make a rough copy of your drawing while you‘re planning your lesson to be sure you can execute it on the board, and that you can draw it quickly while students are focused on another task.
Language tasks involve integrating the four language skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening. Plan your classroom time such that all four skills are used in every class session. Learners find this engaging approach reinforces each skill. Include field trips to give your students a chance to practice with you close at hand for assistance. Visit a museum, grocery store, post office, restaurant, or library. There are a number of classroom activities which provide useful practice prior to class outings. Try an assortment of these activities to stimulate interest and discussions.
